Browns landing JT and Quinn has to be the best first day of the draft. A potential franchise QB and OT.

and CB.

SF by far:  Willis & McDonald on defense.....Staley and WR Hill on offense.  What's really funny is they have 4 picks in the 4th Round.

49ers had an amazing draft as well and are not done.  But Cleveland's is amazing.

I would say the Browns...who the heck thought you could get J. Thomas AND Brady Quinn in the same draft??  [banghead]

Who won on the first day?  That will be answered a year from now.  Take away all the hype and you have unproven, new NFL players.

I actually like ATL's draft. Anderson, Houston and Blalock are all good picks (they got the right OG in this case) and all might start from day 1.

CAR had an awesome draft: Beason, Kalil, Johnson, and Jarett. Wow. Nice haul and good value on all the picks.

I hate to see the NFCS doing this well. The only good news is the Saints don't look to have helped themselves much.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

I think the Saints draft was solid but not great.  They tend to pick players that really fit their scheme rather look for value with their picks.

In contrast the Panthers always draft for value.  They had a great draft and all four will probably be starters sooner than many people think.

Atlanta had a very good draft but with Houston it looks like Jimmy will be playing safety.

Cleveland which essentially got two top first rounders.

Wade will allow Ware and Spencer to go after the QB relentlesly.  It would not suprise me if Ware has a huge year next year and utilizes all of Ware's max potential.

I thought Cleveland stole the show with two very quality picks; and I felt the Bucs did totally take care of their offensive & defensive lines with their first two picks, but after that I will be scratching my head until the season finally starts and I can see what they were seeing with the rest of our picks.
