Bruce has regressed the past couple weeks but he is a rookie and he has played some good defenses in Philadelphia and New York - the Bengals are not that good. He is going to have his ups and downs but I still do not like him as our franchise guy as I just don't think he is tall enough and his arm strength is questionable. He migh turn out to be very good but I just don't see this as a strength at this time. He looks to Joey too much when he has other people open such as Alex Smith.
Considering that Clayton dropped a guaranteed TD and Galloway dropped not 1, but 2 huge plays... how can you blame Gradkowski? Considering we ran...what... 8 freaking times and passed almost 50... how can you blame Gradkowski?Considering the winds were 40mph and we freaking PASSED 50 GOD DAMN TIMES... how can you blame Gradkowski? If you wanna blame 1 person, just 1... blame Gruden. That was some of the worst playcalling EVER. How can you pass THAT much, in that bad of weather, with a rookie qb, against a great pass rushing team? That's flat out pathetic. Now if you can take off your "I'm a better coach than everyone" glasses and see the whole picture. You'd see it was Gruden, the WR's, our defense, and yes our qb that all cost us the game. Stop blame Gradkowski. ANY qb outside of Peyton or Brady would have had a HORRIBLE game in these conditions when the defense KNOWS you aren't even ATTEMPTING to run. Considering he didn't throw 1 pick, he did pretty good under the circumstances.
48 passes0 completions over 10 yardsLet that isnk in for a moment.

The only "deep" pass that Eli threw was the one that hung up like a quacker that Plaxico had to adjust to and catch falling down. The rest were the same types of throws that Gradkowski was making.Look, I don't deny, Grads hasn't looked great - he's a rookie. That's what rookies do: they look bad and confused a solid 90% of the time.I ask again -- what on earth are you expecting from the kid?
