Wow, impressive.  If he's taller I'd say he goes in the first day.  He should provide great special teams play if he sticks around.

just like Jeff Gooch and Keith Burns did in the league.

How about Curtis Buckley?   He was the best special teams player we've ever had.   Gant and Burns couldn't carry Buckley's jock.

Fast...and fierce?

He will be a special teams demon then.  Ruud is the guy at MLB this year.

With his heart, speed and ferocity, I was thinking maybe he had a shot at safety.

But he's only 5' 9"....?

Sam Olajubutu, LB, Arkansas (signed to rookie free-agent contract by Buccaneers): On a defense loaded with names like Jamaal Anderson, Chris Houston and Keith Jackson, Olajubutu was the unquestioned leader of the SEC West champion unit last season. Only 5-8 and a middle linebacker, many draftniks had a feeling Olajubutu would go undrafted. I still thought he'd get scooped up. Production-wise, few LBs in the draft had a more productive career. At Arkansas , Olajubutu had 372 tackles, highlighted by an incredible 18-tackle effort against Auburn in '05. He reminds me a bit of Dat Nguyen or Dexter Coakley — an "undersized" linebacker who will produce. On Monday, Olajubutu signed with Tampa, where he'll join Cato June — another "undersized" linebacker — on Monte Kiffin's defense.

Another source:

04/29/07 - 2007 Second-day Draft Steals: If Olajubutu was a few inches taller he probably would have been a first-round selection. At only 5-9, however, the two-time First Team SEC selection likely will have to wait until the mid to late second day to hear his named called. With great instincts, burst to the ball and much better physicality than his size would indicate, Olajubutu may bring back memories of Sam Mills with his passionate, productive play.
04/24/07 - Draft Value: Defensive end Jamaal Anderson and cornerback Chris Houston will be selected in the first round, but if you ask the Arkansas coaches who their most effective defender was in 2006, the answer would be the 5-foot-9 237-pound Olajubutu. Though he lacks height, Olajubutu is a terrific defender, earning first-team All-SEC accolades in 2005 and 2006. If he had the height, he'd be a first-round pick. Some team willing to overlook the tape measure is going to get a terrific steal.
04/16/07 - 2007 All-Rang's Gang Team: At a shade under 5-9, it is easy to see why Olajubutu won't hear his name called early on draft day weekend. That said, despite being short, the 227 pound Olajubutu is a legitimate prospect. Fans of SEC football certainly know what he can do. There may not have been a more dominant linebacker in the conference over the past two seasons -- and remember Patrick Willis lined up at Ole Miss. Voted First Team All-SEC each of the past two seasons from his weakside linebacker position, Olajubutu was able to dominate in a conference blessed with spectacular size and athleticism. He averaged 116.5 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks over the past two years and was a 40 game starter for the Razorbacks. While his height is an obvious concern, it also helps in some areas. Certainly offensive linemen asked to block a moving Olajubutu will find it difficult to sweep him off his feet due to his low center of gravity and excellent lateral agility. Furthermore, there may not be a linebacker in this draft with finer cognitive skills. Some will try to move Olajubutu to strong safety and his 4.61 forty during his Pro Day provides proof that he has the speed to handle such a move. Regardless of where he lines up, Olajubutu is going to surprise at the next level. Simply put, if this kid were 2-3 inches taller, he'd be a 1st or 2nd round pic
