As a freshman in 2003 he was GT's primary kick returner who handled 35 of the team's 48 returns . . . Averaged 22.3 yards per return . . . Had a 90-yard return against NC State as he nearly became the first Yellow Jacket to return a kickoff for a touchdown since 1998, but he was tackled at the 10-yard line . . .Also keep in mind he was timed at 4.39 at the combine.

Surely got as good a chance as anyone. Better to have a guy returning who's not going to be playing any other downs too in my opinion

22.3 yards per return, isn't that way below average???  especially for college???

I'll take that from him if he can translate it to the NFL, b/c we were lucky to get 10 yards on most returns at times.
