I heard the other day (or read, I can't remember which) that the decision to draft Cooper is one of the rifts between Gruden and McKay. Gruden wanted Brian Westbrook...

See this is what scares me. We invested a R3 pick on this guy and he sux. We invested a R2 pick on Ruud and he can't get on the field because we have a very good player in Quarles. Granted he will take over after he leaves but we could have gone in another direction with that pick. Clayton isn't showing up now, year 2 of that. It just makes me nervous that maybe our player evals. for the draft arent panning out or we are just picking the wrong positions...

I  happened to have a conversation with someone a few days ago about this subject.....Gruden was very angry about that pick and Travis Stephens and Tim Wansley.

I like Ruud he has potiential but geez this is now his 2nd year and he can't get on the field. We didn't need to go LB when we did to get him if you plan on having Quarles, bad mistake IMHO. We could have gone DT or OL or gone to OLB but we have a R2 pick on the pine because we have a formal pro bowl player starting who plays well. Yeah, Stephens, Wansley???
