They should sell about 250,000. Thats how many people had season tickets in 1979 otherwise known as "The Good Year".

Anyone who actually was a fan back then already has about 20 of those old caps in alot better condition than that one.     That particular cap looks like it was pulled from the garbage.

I have a solid orange hat from 1980 signed by mr.Buc ...Mr. Selmon!
It's been rapped in plastic for years and never worn!

I have a few hats signed by Mr Selmon, Mr Williams, Mr Deberg, Mr Young, Mr Wilder, Mr Green, Mr House, Mr Giles, etc.     None of them are wrapped in plastic though and I've worn them all.

"My fanship is bigger than yours."

This is such a funny conversation that always takes place among Buccs fans. I honestly never hear this among other fans, it's so funny. Just because you posted that pic, and tell a bunch of imaginary screen names that you have lots of hats doesn't mean you didn't become a fan the day after Ronde ran his pick back in Philly. But I guess we'll take your word for it.

Did they even sell the creamsicle hats in KC?    LOL!    I think it might have been tough for you to pick one up.

I grew up in RI, and no it was impossible to buy Buccs stuff when I was a kid. The only Buccs things I ever owned until about 1994 was a James Wilder jersey and a Buccs painter's cap. In 1994 I stole a "Carol Wright" catalog from the doctors office that had an NFL section to order various things. I spent about $1000 of money I had saved up as a kid from my paper route on Buccs stuff. Pillow cases, socks, umbrella, wallet, mugs, hats, T-shirts, toe nail clipper, shot glasses, pens, pencils. It was pretty sad now that I think about it....lol.

Some of us weren't alive back then, guys.

I wish they had a clean hat like that, 'cause I would buy it.  I became a fan the year before they changed the colors...does that make me more of a fan than one who liked them a year later?  No, it's just coincidence that I didn't become a football fan until I was 11.  I would buy the hat (once again, if it were clean) out of respect for those of you who were fans during those rough decades.

LOL...that second one is my hat size. Even though that's really not authentic. That is a new line they came out with a couple years ago. The first hat is from Dungy's first year. As a matter of fact Java, I think you posted a pic of an issue of Buc mag with Dungy wearing that hat.

You are 100% right.  Its laughable. We have had whole threads of people bragging about how long they have been a fan.  Why?  Was it the good old days?  No they went to half full stadiums and baked in the heat and watched their team suck.

What they want is a fricken merit badge, so if you can find a couple of those on E-bay I'm sure they would be snapped up by the posters on this board.

Those who were not fans back then don't understand why us old time fans take pride in that fact.   And you never will.
