I will start in 1993. when FSU defeated Nebraska 19-17 for the National Title.

Then there's the Bull S FSU vs UF game in '96 that will always be under protest. From me and my fellow FSU fans.....The 'Ol Ball Coach **CENSORED**ed and moaned for that W, Plain and simple!



Please somebody know NCAA Baseballl....on top of the next 14 years if we can add NCAA baseball it will be a rediculas amount of titles for our great state of Florida.

I could understand your argument in a close game down to a call that went the other way.  But come on, FSU just got owned by a better team, plain and simple.

While I disagree that Florida owns the sports world, I will add the 2002 Bucs and the 2004 Lightning.

I'd submit that Michigan owns the sports world.

ABOSLUTELY he whined and cried his way to victory........STARTING with lobbying for the second oppurtunity to play a team that just spanked him at the END OF NOVEMBER remind you.....KINDA like how Michigan wanted Ohio State again though they lost to them late last season, and I bet you were like many, ready to be sick to your stomach if they did get the second chance....

Not only did Spurrior dog and moan to get there, once he did, he whined and cried for every personal foul he can get, which were many, He had the refs in his pocketS. FSU was clearly the better team the first time and didn't deserve the half way called game they recieved from the officials. The two teams were a lot closer matched than the score decided, I mean the refs decided.


Can't think of anyone from that game who wasn't a bust in the NFL from the Gators side?? I can't...I don't think they have a 1-3 rounder from 1997 still playing in the NFL or even one who had a Pro Bowl caliber career. Bunch a bums who needed a whiney butt HC to get them thier W's.

BTW, FSU will be back this year to take our rightful position as the best program in FLA......FSU finished in the top-5 15 straight seasons from 1988-2003 and again in 2005, Where was UF in that span? Yep whining thier way to the top, and it's about time, welcome in, we've been waiting.

If you want to talk bad calls THAT game was full of them. 

UF SPANKED FSU by 32 for a MNC, CHEW ON THaT! 

There was no lobbying, there was no cheating, no paid refs, just a good old fashioned BEATDOWN.  The fact that you are STILL bothered by that is FUNNY!

It was NOTHING like OSU-MICH, it was a completely different system.  It was ONLY for a MNC because ASU lost.  The bowl structure was completely different, tie ins were different. 

You can whine and cry all you want, but fact is FSU got worked.  All they had to do was win at a neutral field and they are MNC.  But they didn't, they got absolutely blown out by a superior team. 

52-20.  Doesn't just happen by luck. It happens by being better.  It's been 10 years.  DEAL WITH IT.

I guess it was Spurrier's lobbying that caused Nebraska to lose to Texas, and caused UF to beat Bama in the SEC Championship game. 

Ray is right in that you can't compare Mich losing their last game to UF losing the 2nd to last game then coming back to beat #11 Bama at a neutral site.
