The categories our ranking system is based on:

Last two minutes in each half: How good is the two-minute drill?

Fourth quarter: the game is often in the balance

Red zone: Can they punch it in?

Ahead by seven points or less: Time to put a team away.

Behind by seven or less: One TD and the lead is back.

Third down: Often a last chance to avoid a punt.

Lower in the article they said he is the 22nd overall QB, but nice to see he does well in the red zone.  Now we just need to get there more often.

Hey for a rookie qb to lead other starters like Brady, Manning, etc in any category and it isn't in interceptions it is all positive.  He also ranks above Lierart in overall ranking.  For a sixth round draft pick to be beating out a top ten pick that says a lot.  And redzone means if given the opportunity he will put it in for points.  Good job Grad.

Yeah.  People are having a hard time dealing with his learning curve, though.  He needs another good game here, now.

But how many attempts has Bruce had in the redzone compared to the others?

I love Grads and think he is the man for the Bucs but I'm sure Manning and others has had many more chances in the redzone. It's still cool to see Grads name at the top of any QB ranking.

SR mentioned this area of Grads's game a couple of weeks ago.  Being able to convert FGs into TDs in the redzone is pretty good habit to have in a QB.  Like others have said though, Grads needs to get to the redzone a few more times before any real trend can be identified.
