With the drafting of all of those sppedy defensive linebackers and dbacks, will the special teams be just better in covering kick-offs and punts or will it translate into some nice, long gains and/or touchdowns on punts and do I dare say kickoffs? I think so.

They've imporved in coverage but not return yards. I can't wait to see the kid from Jacksonville do his thing. Punt returns are so difficult to get good yards because of how high those guys kick the ball, the coverage is already there by the time the guy catches it.

I hope we don't see a bunch of kick-off returns because that would mean the other team is scoring, we don't want a repeat of this past year.

We should have drafted Devin Hester at pick 23

I don't. I'm happy with our 1st rd pick in last years draft. Returners have such a short shelf life.

We were actually #1 in kickoff coverage last year, by a pretty good margin too. We gave up 18.4 a return, the #2 team, Dallas, gave up 19.6.

I'm hoping we don't punt and only receive 1 Kickoff a game.

We'll be good as long as Cox doesn't get himself in trouble and get suspended or something.

Naw, I posted that after I knew Cox was suspended.   I was just goofing around as usual.   I do think he was a good contributor on special teams.   He's history now.   I don't think he'll be missed however.
