Teams have consistently had success against our secondary when the pass rush is poor.  If the QB gets long enough back there a receiver will eventually get open, even with BK in.

That has always been a weakness of the Tampa-2 when you don't get a pass rush.

looking forward to AT LEAST 3-4 new starters on defense next year. time to turn the page.  we had a great run with this defense now its time for some fresh meat.

i'm tired of the excuses for this defense.  our pass rush is non existent and with the exception of Barber we have the worst secondary in the NFL.  yet on talk radio i listen to hosts crotch nuzzling the jocks and tossing soft balls. the players making excuses about needing to execute better, the other team gets paid too, blah, blah, blah.  we are a bad football team, no matter how you slice it. i expect for the offense to play mediocre football with a 3 rookies starting.  but the defensive breakdowns are inexcusable.  head should roll on that side of the ball this offseason.

I do not think the secondary is bad as people think.  Simply put without pressure any defensive back in this scheme looks bad.  There is a reason why the Raiders who have drafted loads of D-backs over the years in rounds 1 and 2 have failed to put a decent D on the field.  This year with Sapp and Burgess their defense looks loads better without Woodson.

Saints just ran nine minutes off the clock. Without even scoring they just sealed the game on that drive.
