With Simon going out for the year, my thought is we try to trade Booger for a middle round pick to the Colts.  Feasible?  Likeable?

If the Colts would take that deal I doubt many around here would cry much.

If the team can get a first day pick for booger, I would be all for it. He has worn his welcome on the Bucs.

The problem is our DL is very thin as it is.  Losing a man will mean trouble.  I would be okay with this if we had plans to sign a suitable replacement.

I like the idea of trading for Darnell Dockett, as has been mentioned on the Insider Board.

There would be a negative net cap hit.  With that said the Bucs do have cap space this year to take on Booger's negative net cap hit and the left over dead money.

More trouble than giving up 306 yards rushing?

I rather see Bradley/Bryant back on this team.  Bryant may not be an everydown player but rotating with Bradely I think that is better than Booger.

I'm just speaking of the total number of DL we keep on the roster.  If we give up Booger, we need to sign or elevate another DL; we can't let this position get any thinner.  We've seen the injury bug strike here before and options can run out quickly.  I'm all for moving Booger if we can get value for him, I just don't want to see him replaced with another WR that won't be active on game days.

Buh-bye.

To get something for Booger, would absolutely make my day

Just to unload his hefty contract for next yeasr FA hunt is good enough for me!

I have grown weary of Booger, and his lack of presence, his lack of skill, his lack of instinct for the game.  PLEASE dump this guy.

Not feasible because we still are trying to salvage the season.

Sure about that?
The Yatta thing says different to me.  He's apparently been playing for a LONG time on that bum knee, but they chose NOW, when he may be the second best lineman, and we're starting anew QB to do the surgery?  I think the staff has decided it's done.

I agree.
