Maybe because they think Trueblood is ready or the knee just wasn't coming around. I think it would be ridiculous to throw in the towel after three games. I think its funny how some fans have been talking Superbowl and then a month later they want to the Bucs to just give up and wait til next year. Just for the record, these fans are in favor of just scrapping the year right now. In other words they have given up. Because regardless of what you think of Booger, there is no legit backup.ALL DA WAYBOID FINKCARADOCTRUE PIRATEBUCKIT (big shock there)CORRUPT PIRATESome fans. I've been the first one to bash unrealistic homer fans, but to give up on the season after 3 games? Three games?? Thats ridiculous. I hope our players have more heart than some of our fans.
Bradley and Bryant are legitimate starters who would be better than McFarland?
Bradley was cut. Bryant was cut. Bryant is now on the practice squad. I don't know where Bradley is.
But its your contention that the team would be better off for this year getting rid of the starter and picking up a guy from the practice squad. OK then.

"No big dropoff". Well then there is a dropoff according to you, and of course then the dropoff extends to the backup who would be bringing back a guy from the practice squad. Either the inconsistent Bryant or Bradley who God knows where he is right now. There is no way you can say the team is better off or just as well off this year without Booger. Thats a ridiculous contention.
No. I am saying that players that are not on this team can bring what Booger brings. And there is not a big drop off with Wyms from Booger.I am very sure that this team would not miss a beat without Booger. It is NOT a rediculous contention. It has been proven time and time again since the Super Bowl year where Booger misses games the run defense has not suffered.
I assume that like most of us have been saying, that what he meant was trade him for something of worth. Be it a draft pick, or some player, removing his salary would be great in the hunt for quality FAs next year . Booger has not done much the last few years, he is injury prone, and doesn't get the pressures on the QBs that the tackles should be doing.
Exactly. Thank you for illustrating my point. YOU ALL ARE GIVING UP ON THIS YEAR! Sure you can do something to help for next year, but we have only played 3 GAMES! Its way to early to bail on this year and play wait til next year. That is exactly what you are proposing. 3 GAMES!
I don't think anyone is saying give up on the year.
