Wouldn't mind seeing it, espescially considering this season is a bust as of now.  Would like to see if McCown has a better skill set for this offense.  He certainly understands it better, given he has been here a year longer than Bruce.

Think it will happen?

I think McCown will get a game or two just for experience later this season.  Gruden still think Grads is the right man for the job, and for a 1st year rookie he really hasn't done a bad job.

I doubt it.  Bruce is not playing well, but it would take a few 3 INT games for Gruden to make that switch.

I was on the Rattay watch today, and that made me cringe...

Whatever you are on with this 10-6 talk I'll take some of it.  This season is down the crapper and we should get a good look at what Bruce is made of.   I wouldn't mind McCown playing the last three games though.

Bruce is tapping the line between, "can he be our future or can't he?"  He would have to go out and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is not, before we play McCown.  I'm talking 10 for 32 and 3 INT games.  More than one of them.

That's a rough call.  Jon seems to have made his choice, so what we're looking at is taking important learning time from one QB and giving it to another.  Agree with Leeroy, unless Grads implodes (which, contrary to what some posters here believe, he has not) the will give him every rep he can get to make him ready for next year.
It's a shame Luke got hurt, I would have liked to have seen him in preseason, but he lost out on an important opp to show what he had, and may not get that again barring an injury to Grads...

Jon is intrigued by Gradkowski and to his credit, Grads has given us some glimpses that he can indeed be a find QB in the NFL. He also has given us glimpses that he might be the next Sage Rosenfeld.

I think the balance of the season is Gradkowski's. If he can improve, and begin to get better with each game, he will be the starter for the forseeable future. If he continues as he is and the offense continues its struggles...then at the end of the season, I'd look for this team to find a veteran QB to steer the ship and draft an heir apparent for the future.

The light has not yet come on for Gradkowski. Will it ever? Remains to be seen.
