For those people advocating for Mike Martz to be the new head coach for the Bucs Carnell would be benched for those drops in a Martz offense.

He is averaging two or three drops a game, which is unacceptable.  If he can't become a receiving threat it will limit the playbook down the road.

It was a bad throw, and Clayton would have scored if it had been on the money (and had Clayton not dropped it).

It was a 3rd and 4 play on the Saints 34 yard line. Clayton was about one yard over the 1st down so he would have had the ball on the Saints 29 yard line with half of the Saints D to beat…..no way in hell that would have been a TD.

It was a 4th and 3 play.

Actually that wasnt the worst part of that drive.  The worst part was how he missed a WIDE open Galloway on two consectutive plays prior to that pass to Clayton.   On second down, Galloway was running down the east sideline with no one within 15 yards of him.

Indeed.

Nice to see you got some teeth to bare MJS.

He sucks, but he's the best we've got.

You really need to get off this "he sucks" trip, particularly when the facts don't back that notion.

Thanks for the detailed feedback guys.

Come on, MJS, what do you expect Gru to say?  He sucks, but he's the best we've got. Not many QBs could make it? Please! All of the ones starting & some of the backups.
And when he said good things about Simms, did you think the same thing? "Come on, Karen, what do you expect Gru to say?"

I hear pretty much every sound-bite that the media have of Gruden.  During his show last season he was never that excited about Simms, even when we were winning those comeback games.

You're wasting your time. Some people just don't get it, or don't want to admit that Gruden has a much higher opinion of Grads than he did of just about any QB he's had in Tampa.
