Disagree about Mahan.

But what did Henederson really say that was incorrect? Similar comments have been posted on this board and I'm not talking about Boreabuc.

Where is Henderson wrong?

In the article on Mahan, Cummings doesn't bother to mention Pittsburgh's starting Center is injuring, which is why Mahan is starting. Our staff already knew Mahan couldn't beat out our starter, John Wade. He had the chance last year, and failed to do it.
Henderson suddenly finds the pre-season games to be real important for gauging whether the Bucs are "ready" for the start of the regular season. He may be the only Trib sports writer to ever think that ::)! I've seen countless articles over the years where sports writers trash the pre-season!
Teams judge more what a guy does (or doesn't do) in training camp than pre-season games. It's common knowledge teams don't "show" much in the pre-season anyway; surely he knows that!
