Could USF be Ranked in the Top 25 this Season?

Here's the schedule. The only thing I don't like is the bye being week 3. We have a few tough games but nothing that can't be overcome. We've got a lot of returning starters and after last year's bowl victory we are on the nation's radar. Is it possible that we end up in the top 25 this year?

Do you mean ranked at the end of the season or just any time during the season? They would be Top 25 if they beat Auburn next week ...... which I don't think they'll do.
Their toughest conf games are at home so even losing to Auburn, there's still a possibility they could run the table and that would definitely put them in the Top 15, if the other teams are having good seasons...

Auburn isn't  Elon.

Kansas State isn't USF.

From the looks of yesterday, KSU may be better than USF, so you are right.

USF starts off slow yearly, look at last year against the Cowboys, we didn't pile it on until the third quarter when Grothe came in.

I'll be surprised if USF stays within 14 points of Auburn.  I'm no SEC homer, not by far, but I just think Auburn's D is going to eat USF alive.  I'm calling something like 27-7.  Unless USF gets a special teams or defensive scores, I don't think the offense can put up more than a score or 2.

What makes you think Auburn's offense will put up 27 points?

TO's and good field position from a stifling defense with size and speed USF has never seen?

They just said on ESPN that Augurn should watch out for USF this week. I like our chances.
