Is it "someone" or "people?"

I recall someone on this board saying Clayton was going to be the next Jerry Rice.  Obviously his 2005, 2006 seasons, and 2007 preseason have spoken louder than Clayton's words.

Ok, but just think of this Jerry Rice arguably had such a stellar career, that if you split Rice's career in HALF, you would have TWO hall of fame players!

Look

1st half of Rice's Career 1985-1993....
8 Pro Bowls
2 Super Bowl Wins
1 SB MVP
708 catches (26th all time)
11,176 receiving yards (18th all time)
118 Rec. TOUCHDOWNS (would rank 3rd all time)

2nd half of his career 1994-2005
1 Super Bowl Win
1 AFC Title
5 Pro Bowls
841 Catches (good for 12th all time)
11,719 yards (16th all time)
79 Receiving TD's (would rank 20th all time)

Michael Clayton would die to have either one of those careers.

Whats the point of posting something based off 3 years ago?

Clayton being a bust stings me so bad,  I thought that kid was gonna be a player for years.  I bought his authentic jersey and everything, what a dumb freakin move.  M80 is a dud.

"there are no medals here for who can stay at the office the longest," said Jagodzinski. "I'm not into that. The guys that brag about working till 2 in the morning, in my opinion, they're just not smart enough. "

18,2,25,13 ... murderers row?

I support coach Calhoun and his salary

change the last name on the back of your Clayton jersey to who ever will wear 80 in the future, 80 is a very common number and someone else willhave it, you can get a red namepalte sewn on with sewn on letters for $35

the way the bucs treat FA/Draft, it will either get worn by some no name, or an old fart like Eric Moulds :D

I don't recall anyone saying he was the next Jerry Rice.

There were definitely high hopes for him though.

I have a feeling Clayton will do well this year.

I never heard anyone compare him to Jerry Rice. But through three seasons Clayton has 106 more yards than Jacquez Green had to put that in perspective.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

If you remember Clayton set the bar for himself.  He wanted to be like Jerry and had mentioned it several times....

Without Carl Nix it feels like our running game just took a death blow to the face!
