It was/is a non-story, and certainly has nothing to do with this thread, as Java stated.

The ironic thing about the show is that Sheen plays a party dog and he's now a tea-totaler (supposedly) due to alcohol abuse. He seems to know how to play his character, though, doesn't he?

Anyone remember when he was serious with porn star Ginger Lynn?

I also recall a conversation when some reporter questioned Charlie after being found with a prostitute..... paraphrased:  "why with all your money and fame would  pay money for a prostitute? You could go out with any woman you wanted?"  Sheen answered again paraphrased " What are you talking about? I don't pay money for sex I pay money for them to leave!"

I have always loved that quote from Sheen. Wow, I really admire hime for speaking out like that on such a controversial issue.

You're uninformed on this subject. The entire mainstream media covered the Sheen story
when he spoke out on 9/11. You must have missed it. Should I provide links to
his appearances on CNN (Show Biz Tonight) or the hundreds of articles that were
written on it from around the world?

I'm so sorry I hijacked the thread. I guess there was going to be some in depth
discussion of Two and a Half Men.

Disagree with Sheen all you want but it WAS a controversial story that got a lot of press.

In Joe's defense if you watch just this one video (I think it's a little over 30 min.):

1) at the very least, it raises a lot of questions

2) at most, the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming.

crazy. Fine. But when Sheen spoke out, was it a story? If you cable news or read news
sites online, it was tough to miss. Should it have been a story? Not for me to say.

Maybe I did run into it, but like anyone who actually cares to see real news, I switched away, because it was NOT news.

Based on CNN, the biggest news story of the year, besides Vick and dogfighting, has been Paris Hilton's stint in jail.

I watched season one of Lost.   They've been showing that out here for a while.   I got bored of that show though.   That one and 24 just drag on too much for me.   I like some closure when I watch an episode.
