No, Monte didn't draft Brooks. And Monte refuses to give Cato June PT at WLB. Brooks stunk today, badly.

Of course you realize I know that?

No dude check the game day thread,  Their MLB is the best thing since adam gave up a rib and Ruud blows chunks the like that have never been seen before.

Game day threads feature a lot of posts on emotion rather then rationality.

Are you not here often? Seems you're around a lot. I thought I was bad at keeping track of folks.

Anyway, the whole post was a swipe at some fellow posters. The idea being that Blaming Monte for Brooks... I just don't get that angle.

What makes that different from every thread?  Seems to me game day threads should be more accurate then the rest as you've just seen the play it should be fresh in your mind.

Well, Monte has refused to sit him down. He looked bad quite often last season, and the Bucs went out and got Cato June, then ended up lining him up at SLB. June's the best fit at WLB, and should have been playing there today. I understand not starting him there, but he should have been splitting time with Brooks.

I love Brooks, but he was a serious liability today.

There are a lot of uninformed posters, so I don't track folks too much, except for the obvious ones who stick out like a sore thumb.

Yeah he should sit Brooks.

For the first time I'd have to side with the brooks slowing down folks last season. Still how many new players are you going to start?  I'm less for not starting Brooks and more for protecting him.

That said, easily the worse game from Brooks I can remember and I have faint memories of him at FSU.

The two plays that killed us, was when a LB had to cover someone 40 yards downfield. Thats not going to win games. Ruud wasn't the problem, just two cover calls.

I'd say roughly 50% of the regs don't have the first clue what teh eff they're talking about and can't back up a single claim with one single play, move, thought, shread of support.

Tivo my man!

I wonder if anyone will want to actually break down a play or two or ten? Or will we as a group again just post a bunch of crap with no real discussion?
