I even contemplated not supporting them any longer for the rest of the season as I felt that the product on the field was sub-par....

a TRUE fan would NEVER contemplate such nonsense.

that sentance alone discredits your post as well as the message you were TRYING to send.

I'm a fan because i'm pissed about this season. That doesn't make me less of a fan at all.

Do I think the team has been trying? Not as hard as they should be. These players need to get pissed and they need to be accountable for the errors they are making not by pointing the finger at themselves but by performing better. They are professional athletes and the sad part is the losing doesn't seem to be phasing them. Nobody flipping out, nobody showing emotion, they need to give more effort and they need to get upset or else the losing continues.

I always think it's funny when people on message boards call each other bandwagon fans.

While I don't disagree, I hope it was clear that I was joking above.

It was clear to me. But I never take anything on a message board too seriously anyway..

Besides, bandwagon fans don't spend $1200 to go to Dallas and forsake their family on Thanksgiving for a crappy Bucs team like this one..   :-
