Who in the hell says it's harder to hit a Wide Open WR than one with Champ Bailey on his back.  Also, if you look closely, Curtis had to stop, cut in,  or slow down on his route because McNott(I like that) didn't put the ball where it SHOULD be.

And the Saints secondary does suck, but the passes were where they needed to be.  Go back and look at the interception, it wasn't a poorly thrown ball.  Ben Troupe was the intended receiver but Jason David peeled off of his WR to pick the pass off...bad decision, not bad throw.

And I never said he is a Top NFL QB, I said he was better than Donovan freakin' McNott...and I will stand by that.

Yes...VY is better-more talented.

Yes...CJ is better-more talented.

Yes...AP is better-more talented.

Any more of those for me, I like them.

Ah - a man's biggest fear - that premature thing - too soon to make the calls.  You could end right on each one - but still too soon.  JMHO>

BucJam, you are stats fan...Here are their respective rookie year stats:

MCNOTT:
YEAR   TEAM    G    CMP    ATT    PCT    YDS    AVG    TD    LNG    INT    RAT
1999   PHI   12    106    216    49.1     948     4.4       8       63         7         60.1

VY:
YEAR   TEAM    G    CMP    ATT    PCT    YDS    AVG    TD    LNG    INT    RAT
2006   TEN   15    184    357    51.5    2199    6.2     12     53      13      66.7

VY's rushing stats are also better, but I was not even considering that.  I say he is a better QB than McNabb not running QB...he just happens to be both.

More talent doesn't make you better in my book - but I see how you are looking at it - and it is your thread.   ;D

okay he kept them in the game against the colts...the division he plays in is the toughest division in football right now as all have a winning record and the 3 who have lost have lost to a div. opponent. I can't wait for you to taste your foot when he comes to tampa...you'll see just how good vy is, and that isnt taking anything away from our defense either. the man is far better than vick will ever be, he doesn't complain like mcNABB not mcnott...and mcnabb's best years came when he had the best receiver in the game playing on his team...and he hasnt done jack since, give vy that type of playmaking receiver and you'll be singin' a different tune...i guarantee it. VY is doing it with no talent at wr except for eric moulds who has been around since the stone age

In this case the stats DO lie.

Vince Young inherited a team that was built around a similar style QB in McNair. McNott inherited the Philthydelhia Iggles, the single reason for the difference in stats alone.

Wow, I give a better argument both ways and you still won't admit it.  I guess we will agree to disagree.

Here is a post from above:

Of course he hasn't won as much as McNabb....He has just started playing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The point is that VY is more accurate and a better QB all around than McNabb is....anybody want to argue that instead of what a guy in his second year has accomplished?

Why are those stats acceptable but their rookie year stats are not?
