The Bucs' D was eleventh after three weeks. Shirley, they returned to the top ten after the wuppin' they put on the Panthers. I really hope Bruce Allen has a nice fat contract extinsion written up for Monte Kiffen, say for the next decade or so.

Before the touchdown was scored with 23 seconds to go, Gene Deckerhoff said that the Bucs D had given up the fewest points in the NFL since 1997. 1st place defense now?

They also said the Bucs would shirley go last in the NFC South. NOW the Bucs are 1st in the NFC South division. I wonder if those same people that thought the Bucs would be last are still shirl...hmmm?

We're #5 right now actually in Total Yards per game allowed.  I don't think tonight's game will change that unless Cincinnati holds New England to 0 yards.

Points allowed is the nice number. 11 ppg is awesome. Even if we give up 30 next week, if we go back to allowing 11 ppg, that's still only 195 for the season.

I would like to see a little more pass rush but that is because I am demanding.   ;D

Jacksonville (bye) and New England (tonight) are the only teams who have allowed fewer points, but they have only played 3 games so far. We are 15th in scoring offense.

Man, Chuk was looking good.  I can't wait 'til he's in game shape and playing the majority of the D plays.
