Anyone want to jump on the Gaines Adams bandwagon after todays game?  :'(

Already there and if we keep playing like this we'll have a real shot at him.

Definately.  :o

Lost quality assistants to the league, lost solid players in FA, lost draft picks all spent on offense, no decent FAs (outside Hovan), injuries, and this is his first down year after a decade with the Bucs. Now why again should I be asking for this man's head........

The reason behind the drasctic fall this year is the lack of pressure up front. With quarterbacks having all day to throw the ball the secondary looks well below average out there. fix the front four and you mask or help the secondary not to have to cover receivers for 10 to 11 seconds wich is just out of this world to expect even the best cornerbacks to cover a receiver for that long. it all starts up front in the Tampa2 and right now the team just does not have the horses to compete up front anymore time to draft and sign some big nastys up front that have a nasty dispostion about them.

In Football, RESPECT is never given freely by your opponent. It must be TAKEN from them...VIOLENTLY

Great players cost a lot of money but help win games. High-priced players - a byproduct of poorly run front offices with bad scouting departments - only cost a lot of money.

No question job #1 is to fix the front four.

The pass rush has fallen off since Sapp left.  Spires also has gone way downhill from his peak a few years ago.  Obviously Booger's lack of rush from the interior made Rice our only decent pass rusher and teams have figured out more and more how to stop him.

I'd like to see 2 of the first 3 picks used on the interior and grab a real difference maker if one is there.

agreed, we should draft a DE and a DT on day 1 of the draft.

Don't believe Sapp or Lynch were here last year and we were the #1 defense.

So what's your point?

I believe we have drafted one defensive player in the last seven or nine years and that was Rudd.

2005
Barrett Ruud
Donte Nicholson (2nd highest ranked SS in draft)

2004
Marquis Cooper
Will Allen

2003
Dewayne White

2002
Jermaine Phillips

2001
Dwight Smith
John Howell
Ellis Wyms

I think Donte should of been a Buc this year.
