Miyagi, almosty nothing you said actually addressed the reasoning behind what Saben said. You are all over the place.
USF does have players that couldn't qualify at other schools.

Mike Ford tried for over a year to qualify for Bama, but couldn't. He now plays for USF.

I mentioned him the first time around. Maybe you missed it?

Whos a kid?

Make some sense.

Tell me how any of these events that you covered have anything to do with the issue of Nick Saben coming out of left field to bash an up and coming USF program who is seeing more success than him....

1) Nick Saben helping Taylor transfer

2) Noel Devine

3) Florida media's hate for Nick Saben

1 player, thats all you got is one player. Like i said from the beginning, Saben is mad because USF is in better recruiting grounds and stole 1 player from Alabama.

Who are the other 5 players?

Why dont you addreess the other blatant lies he told?

What does that have to do with anything? Are all the 'bama natives this dumb? You cant answer one question straight, and everything you say is straying off topic
Again, quit making stupid assumptions.

I am not a Bama native.

I was born and raised in Pinellas County.

Once again, quit showing you age.

Try, once again, to address the reasoning behind Saban's comment "I think there are six guys starting on South Florida's defense who probably could have gone to Florida or Florida State but Florida and Florida State couldn't take them"...

I mean if Mike Ford is the only argument you have, then you are saying Nick Saben thinks USF is better than him because of 1 freshman?

YOU are a kid, and you are playing the part perfectly. Honestly you are acting like your gay porn buddy, jakedakota.

You are completely off base with "coming out of left field". Do you think that Saban called a press conference for this? No, he was asked a question. I told you that I thought that he shouldn't have answered it the way that he did, but again, he id not one to pull any punches. You're a Saban fan........ So, you know this already ::)

Saban's comments are a non-story. What he has said now is "sour grapes", but when he aided Taylor, we heard NOTHING about it. Obviously there are no sour grapes there.

Noel Devine couldn't qualify for the Betty Crocker School of Cooking, but he got into WVU. Many dropped comments about that. I didn't hear you crying like a little girl then.

Alabama's standards arent that great either.

"There's a significant amount of players who don't qualify (at some schools) and they end up being pretty good players at some other schools.'  ACCURATE

False, in the context he used it. This does not make USF better than ALABAMA, and thats what he was trying to say

Quote
"Of 110 players, we have two nonqualifiers, one starts, one doesn't," Leavitt said. "The Big East doesn't allow nonqualifiers. For a guy to make a mistake like that is not right.

No, he's not.  You're reading WAY into that.  What he said is true - there ARE good players who don't qualify at some schools and go to others.

Take Vandy, for instance.  Their standards are VERY high.  I'm sure they could get A LOT more skilled players if the standards were lower.

Here's the Birmingham news article (where this all started):

I'd really like to know how the media got Saban onto this topic...

At his press conference apparently ....

Asked during his press conference how such non-traditional football powers became so competitive, Saban replied, "The distribution of players is not the same for everyone. We can't take props (partial qualifiers) in the SEC. They can't take them in the ACC. There's a significant amount of players who don't qualify, and they end up being pretty good players at some of these schools.

"I think there are six guys starting on South Florida's defense who probably could have gone to Florida or Florida State, but Florida and Florida State couldn't take them."

Read the entire thread.

I already stated that Saban was off base with that comment.

I read it and saw that the very first sentence of your very first post basically agreed with the thread title ..... So why are you still stirring up crap?

Saban's quotes:

"The distribution of players is not the same for everybody,"  ACCURATE

"There's a significant amount of players who don't qualify (at some schools) and they end up being pretty good players at some other schools.'  ACCURATE

'I think there are six guys starting on South Florida's defense who probably could have gone to Florida or Florida State but Florida and Florida State couldn't take them. And if you do a good job of recruiting that way ..."  INACCURATE

2 out of 3 ain't bad...

There are drug dealers and criminals who play college football.   Accurate

Some of them are pretty good players.  Accurate

Six of the starter's on Alabama's defense are drug dealers and criminals.  Inaccurate

Two out of three aint bad.
