Freddie Keiaho-LB- Colts Oct. 5 - 4:21 pm et

Colts WLB Freddie Keiaho (elbow) is expected to miss Week 5.

Tyjuan Hagler should pick up another start against the Bucs.

Bob Sanders-DB- Colts Oct. 5 - 4:18 pm et

Colts S Bob Sanders (ribs) is not expected to play in Week 5.

Sanders will likely be replaced by Matt Giordano at strong safety. It's a blow to Indianapolis' run defense. Give Michael Pittman a nice upgrade.

Marvin Harrison-WR- Colts Oct. 5 - 4:15 pm et

Marvin Harrison (knee) sat out his third straight practice Friday.

Harrison could participate in the Colts' walkthrough Saturday and be cleared, but for now his chances of facing the Bucs seem less than 50-50. Aaron Moorehead is expected to start if Harrison sits out the game.

Joseph Addai-RB- Colts Oct. 5 - 4:11 pm et

Marvin Harrison (knee), Joseph Addai (shoulder), and Bob Sanders (ribs) didn't practice for the Colts at all this week, including Friday. They are all officially listed as questionable for Week 5.

Addai was present for the media portions of practice all week, so he appears to have the best chance to play of the group, though the Indianapolis Star thinks he will probably sit. Sanders is apparently the least likely, with Harrison a close second. The Colts play in an afternoon game. Addai is worth waiting for, especially for owners with both Addai and Kenton Keith, while the others shouldn't be counted on.

Recall too that they have a bye next week so if they sit these cats they get 2 weeks worth of rest and the Bucs aren't an AFC foe so they might be more inclined to sit these guys than they would at some other point- although they do need to keep pace with the Pats.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

why does everybody say that they will rest them cause they have a bye next week?  I would think because of the bye they'd be more inclined to play them this week because they'll still have 13 days of rest inbetween games.

Two reasons:
One, they face Jacksonville after the bye week and since this is a non-conference game it is much less significant. Two, if these guys are dinged up bad enough according to the team doctor, then the team may consider that they'd rather sit them and avoid them possibly getting injured more seriously prior to a big divisional game against another very physical opponent.

I'm not saying they will, but those are some reasons.

Is Manning playing?    If so, the rest doesn't matter.

Peyton's never likely to miss a game in his career, but Addai helps keep that offense moving too. Without him, that offense is alot less effective.

Joseph Addai-RB- Colts Oct. 6 - 12:32 pm et

ESPN's John Clayton reported on Sportscenter Saturday that Joseph Addai, Marvin Harrison, Bob Sanders, and Freddie Keiaho are unlikely to play Sunday.

This goes along with what the local papers are saying in Indianapolis. Fantasy owners should assume they will be without Addai. The only way you can wait is if you own Kenton Keith or another option from the late games that could replace him in lineups. The defensive losses will help the Bucs running game.
