i know it's early, but not good enough to declare yet? hes been listed as high as 8th in some of the mock drafts already...he's way more serviceable than carnell has been in this offense. is he as good as some of the previous prospect running backs? no he isn't...is he a good fit for this team? yes he is. the dude runs similar to alexander or jackson, hes just not as big..if he is available when we pick this year and we pass on him...i am going to be one po'd poster

Isnt Davis in the same situation as Williams was in, In college splitting carriers with another back, would rather have someone like Ray Rice workhorse who doesnt share the load with anyone

In Football, RESPECT is never given freely by your opponent. It must be TAKEN from them...VIOLENTLY

Great players cost a lot of money but help win games. High-priced players - a byproduct of poorly run front offices with bad scouting departments - only cost a lot of money.

Get someone without injury problems.

Or better yet, one without a car in their name. All the "Caddy in the repair shop" or "Caddy needs a new tire", etc etc, get very old, very quick.

Oh, I think we're pretty much hosed in that regard if we decided to draft a running back this year.  James Davis?  Hello, cutsey Garfield references.  Jonathan Stewart?  How do you feel about the Daily Show?  God help us if Kevin Smith came out and we drafted him.

:p

I would go for Kevin Smith myself:

His stats this year

     Rushing Stats
NAME CAR YDS YPC TD
Kevin Smith 117 713 6.1 10

That is in just 4 games and he is the third leading rusher in college this year..

I like Smith, but he needs to a little bit more time before we consider him to be an elite back. On the upside he has done it against Texas and NC State so I don't think you can say he has done it all against 2nd class competition.
Win or lose I would love him to pile up some yardage against USF next week. Then I think we will get a true picture on how good he and our OL is. Fingers crossed.

I like him but it depends on where he would get drafted. I don't think the Bucs need to be using anything higher than a 3rd on another running back.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

The only pipeline I am aware of cannot be mentioned on this site.

remember when we had a texas a&m kingsville pipeline .. well now its clemson. charles bennett, gaines adams, and now we'll go back to the clemson well for another. so i guess its part 3 of the pipeline.

Part three only happens if we draft the guy.

I can;t see that happening right now.

Too far down the road, too many factors to weigh.
