Smoke and mirrors.... 25th ranked offense is what we REALLY are.

Smoke and mirrors must have the Titans at 3-1, too.  They have the 24th ranked offense.  FIRE JEFF FISHER!
I'm not concerned about the Titans.. I am concerned about the Buccaneers.

Why?  You hate them.

And you SHOULD be concerned about the Titans.  Afterall, that's the Bucs' next opponent.  24th offense versus the 25th offense.

FIRE JEFF FISHER!!!

Great, since those are the stats you care about then check this out...

4-12 last NFC South.

That's what we just came off of. We might have won three games so far but it doesn't look good if that is the way our team is going to perform. We have no young up and coming players on offense now. Caddy was it and that was questionable. Gruden has had five years to build an offense here and has failed miserably. While he chooses to invest all his time in guys like Gradkowski other guys like Thomas Jones sit and leave. Knowing that the Tampa two is vulnarable against runs up the middle and knowing that Earnest Graham is a north/south runner he calls running plays that don't work with the talent we have. We are going to be playing some other good teams this year. We could very well be 3-3 after playing the Titans who are 9-2 iin their last 11.

From 12 Pro Bowlers to 0-We got hosed alright

You can not pick and choose who your argument applies to.  The example that was given provides proof the stats are not very important and can be fluffed.  If a team is always playing from behind they will likely have better stats then a team that is playing with the lead.

Where was the money supposed to come from to bring in great tallent?  Thomas Jones signed with the Bears 1 minute after midnight and the Bucs didn't have the money to give him.  Give me a break you guys can not be this ignorant.  I guess this is why I spend very little time on the red board.

We played 18 games last year?  Wow.  I missed that.

And do last year's stats count towards this season?  Post a link to where the NFL changed that.

I know you hate the Bucs, Bornabuc, but face it.  The Bucs are 3-2 and in 1st place.  That's where they are NOW.  That's much better than where they were after 5 games last year.  In the NFL, you're only as good as your record.  Nothing else matters.  Stats don't matter.  Records DO.

We just need to ignore them.  They'll go away after the Bucs beat the Titans.  Or they'll just come on here and tell us how the Titans aren't that good of a football team and how they have the 24th ranked offense.

Numers mean nothing. The only numbers that matter are the final score. Those numbers make us 3-2 and leading the division. Sounds pretty good to me.

Oh yea, in case you forgot we are down our starting LT and 1st & 2nd string RB's. Maybe next week we will loos a few more O starters so that you can blame Gruden some more.

Indianapolis Colts
 Ã‚   Indianapolis Colts
5-0-0, 1st AFC South

Injuries

 Player Status Injury
 R. Hall WR Out Shoulder
 B. Utecht TE Out Concussion
 J. Addai RB Questionable Chest
 M. Harrison WR Questionable Knee
 F. Keiaho LB Questionable Concussion
 A. Moorehead WR Questionable Back
 T. Rushing CB Questionable Hamstring
 B. Sanders S Questionable Chest

Injured Reserve
 Player Status Injury
 M. Seidman TE IR Knee
 A. McFarland DT IR Torn patella
 K. O'Neil LB IR Hernia
 R. Morris LB IR Knee

Every team has injuries. Some coaches plan and have good backups that are ready to play on offense and defense and some coaches use injuries as excuses as to why their teams can't perform.

I can't wait for the Bucs and their 25th ranked offense to beat the Titans so I can come here and read the excuses.

I don't know this new poster - but I recognize some of her content - or it is a double for bornabutt.

Again, if record is the only thing that matter to you, now because it's what you have, then why was Dungy fired? His record was much better than Jon Grudens here. Record is not the only thing that matter because just like with the Yankees who are paying $200 million to win, if they don't win the World Series their coach is fired. In Dungy's case he couldn't get what was selected as the SB team over the hump so he was fired. Gruden can't even have back to back winning seasons yet all of you want to give him a pass. If we had held on to Dungy and brought in McCardell, JJ, Pittman, Dilger, Jendkins and others we would have won the Superbowl too. Gruden was just the motivator that year. You give him way to much credit. This team under him looks putrid. Garcia is really the only thing that is making us look decent right now. Without him our offense is a tankjob.

Dungy was fired because of his pathetic RECORD in the playoffs.  He was 2-5 in the playoffs as head coach of the Bucs with the best defense in the 90's. That's why he was fired.

I'm not giving Gruden a pass.  But his team IS 3-2 despite most of the world prediciting the Bucs would win only 5 or 6 games ALL year.

The rest of your post is laughable.  Who brought in Garcia, by the way?  Dungy probably would've brought him in too, right?

Since when does Offensive Genius have to mean the best ranked offense.  In the real world, if we chew the clock, run the ball and use a lot of the short passes, and score a few times in the game we should win.  The wins so far this year have been exactly that.  Offensive genius does not have to refer to 400 yards passing and 40 points per game.  The Bengals have tried that and look what has happened to them.  If we finish the season ranked somewhere around the middle then we are doing exactly what we are supposed to do.
