I agree that we are rebuilding.... thats why you go get a young, productive back that you can build the offense around!! Are we to just assume that Carnell will come back 100%(which wasnt' that great) next year?

Hate - there's no way you grab Turner for a 2nd rounder - Steven Jackson is still not playing, Rudi Johnson is hurt and the Eagle are hoping Brian Westbrook can come back after the buy week....
This guy is a hot commodity - I'm guessing SD starts with requesting a 1st rounder - and remember he was drafted 154th oveall, in the 5th round.
Any trade would be contingent on signing him to a new deal. Thanx to Bruce Allen(and a significant rise in the salary cap) we are in position to do so whereas  those teams mentioned are not.
