Not giving up on the 07 season...not by a long shot, but......

In 2008, target Haynesworth for DT AND Turner for RB

We have the money and excellent contender pitch.

Then use the 1st pick of the 08 draft on a QB of the future, or a speedy WR....

Then fill in the rest (2nd, 3rd) for C (if Buenning isn't the answer), LT, back up RB, rotation and depth at all weak positions.

Then watch 2008 smiling all the way ;D

The Bucs have already targeted a couple of FA players for next season, and a defensive lineman IS on the list.

Correct, he signed a 7-year extension in April

yes, they signed him long term. so no, charles grant is not one of them.

Not really, but Grant is under a long-term contract so he's not the guy. I was told a couple of names the Bucs have on a FA short list for 2008 under the condition that I not mention any names.
