He had a bad rep coming out of college over not caring about football. Glad the Bucs didn't touch him.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

If nobody else picks him up, I would give him a shot on the practice squad for a few weeks and see if he has anything to offer.  We desperately need to do something to improve our D-line.

For a guy to have been picked as high as he was and get cut by two teams already, he has to be absolutely terrible out there.  I mean, teams will hold onto a 3rd rounder for years just waiting for the light to come on.  To be cut so fast means he had to be so bad right off the bat that they saw no bulb to even turn on one day.

No, guy hasn't shown up since the end of his junior year and now has been cut twice before mid-season of his rookie year.

Rumor was that Kiffin was upset that Al Davis cut him, the Raider coaching staff was high on him. As far as Arizona goes, they were trying to make him an OLB in a 3-4. Sounds like he just wasn't a good fit. I think it's definately worth bringing him in. It won't cost us anything.

i think so, i wouldn't have minded snagging him or Charles johnson at some point in last years draft...Didn't he use to play basketball? Can he catch? maybe he is the next Antonio Gates :)

We had some Buc Fans wanted to draft this guy at pick 35, and I laughed hard.

I think he is a better 3-4 LB, but I guess we could give him a try at DE.

Amazing.....he was switching positions with Gaines on many boards a year ago as the number one ranked DE.

Which poses another question. If Gaines Adams had not been a first round pick do you think he still would be on this team right now?
