How can he consider himself a QB, and not be able to throw a damned ball?  I mean, he might be able to grasp a playbook, but his physical tools are regressing.

I have no faith in Bruce Madkowski, I used to have it, but it went away.  Watching him play makes me ill.  He might be the reason Caddy regressed last year, because he is NO threat with his arm.

ANd now I suddenly feel bad for GRaham.

Luke is the emergency QB, he is inactive.  If he goes into the game, neither Jeff or Bruce can re-enter the game until the 4th quarter, even if Luke gets hurt before that.

I asked this question of SR a couple weeks back, which is whether or not there was any positive buzz around Gradz or if he had developed sufficiently since last year for us to bypass a QB this year. It's pretty obvious he hasn't, and that if Simms/McCown aren't the future then we need to get someone. This dude doesn't seem to have it.

He is a QB, but has nor arm.

That ABuccsfan Venus de Milo is perfect.  He isn't getting the charge out of the turnovers.  He is small.  HE has no range on his deep ball.  His middle passes (as I have said before), are inaccurate.  His short stuff is wobbly.

My question is why is he still with the team and/or why is he the first back up? Maybe there is something about being an offensive genius I just do not understand.
Yeah, I lay this at the feet of the HC. It has been his call all last off season and up to now. We now have evidence of his genius.
We need to be developing a QB for next year and beyond. Care to think what will happen if Garcia is unable to play much more this year? I don't.
