Draft Tim Tebow as QB of the Future!

Danny Wuerfuel looked good in a Gator uniform too.

Danny didn't have the arm for the NFL.

Tebow does.

I want NOTHING to do with Tebow in a BUcs uniform.

Assuming Gruden sticks around for a while, the next successful Bucs QB will be a journeyman type veteran.

I don't want to see Gruden try to develop a young QB.

I'd prefer McNabb in '09 over Tebow

I think Tebow's got the talent to develop into a great NFL qb....but he needs the right coach to do it.

I don't think Gruden has the talent or patience to develop a player, he's better with refining previous learned skills and improving them

I know Bruce is inaccurate. McNabb is accurate enough, and could do well here. Anyone who disputes that is RACIST

McNabb is a proven WCO QB. I would take that guy in an insant.

McNabb's only liability (and it's a biggie) is his durablity.

Injury problems?  Yes.  Talent problems?  No.

McNabb is as inaccurate as any QB in the league.

McNabb has the threat of completing a pass over 10 yards.  Without taking injuries into consideration, this is a no brainer.  Injuries under consideration, maybe a different story.  But Bruce isn't an option in my opinion.

My initial statement about Bruce and McNabb was a joke. 

Of course I would rather have McNabb over Grads...but really, I don't want either.

Tebow is the next Alex Smith.  Great college QB, but won't translate it to the NFL.

Part of the reason Tebow is so good is his threat to run up the middle.  He won't be able to do that in the NFL... or he'll be killed.

You really see any of the same traits in Alex Smith and Tim Tebow?

Besides that they ran the same offense, which Tebow is much better at, there is nothing. 

Tebow has a better arm, bigger, stronger, more accurate, and can hold on to the ball.  Tebow will not have as many called runs in the NFL...they will just happen on busted plays.  The guy has proven he can throw the ball this year.  He will continue to develop that part of his game.

I'm not sold on his arm downfield.  Sure he can dink and dunk but he shows some inaccuracy downfield.  But he's only a sophomore so he has plenty of time to improve. 

And throw his running plays out the window in the NFL.  He wouldn't last 4 games running those plays in the NFL.

We'll see.  Its a couple of years away.  I think he'll play in the NFL and have a good career but I don't think he's worth a 1st round pick.
