wouldn't you hire Jim Tressel?  The guy is a winner, period.  I love the way he carries himself and leads his team.  We went out of our way to recruit Gruden, and if we were to make a coaching change, why not go after a winner like Tressel?

dunno...he's never been a NFL coach, and just because he's good in college =/= good in the NFl...

Good thinking.   Let's get rid of the best coach in the NFL who is having a bad season because of lack of draft picks and salary cap problems and replace him with a guy from college.

No way in Hell. Tressel runs a drity program.  I can't stand Ohio State.  I would never want their crooked ass coach on our sidelines.  Especially at the expense of Gruden.

Jim Tressel?  You have got to  be kidding me with this crap.

I'd take Gruden over Belichick any day.   Look at what Belichick did in Cleveland.   Nothing.

What has anyone done in Cleveland?

Paul Brown.  Record of 167-53-8.  In a ten year span, won division or league championships every year.

Truths:
1.  Never have an argument with an idiot.  They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
2.  For some it would be better if they remained silent and be thought a fool than to speak and erase all doubt.

No kidding.   They were the best team in the league back then.

Fair enough, but I was talking about the "new" Browns, not the ones that moved.

Belichick coached the old Browns before they moved.   He coached from 91-95, and he went 5-11 his final year there.   The new Browns started in 99 if I remember correctly.
