As of today and sum of work who are the 2 best SEC teams?

I would say  Georgia and Florida from viewing the entire season and most recent games. Of course that is just opinion and perception and CFB shouldn't be ruled by that.


If an 8 team playoff was instituted the teams I would select and reasons would be:

First rule- no more than 2 teams from any conference


Second rule won/loss record are chief determiner in determining at large teams


LSU , Ohio State,  USC, WV,  Oklahoma , VT ( all due to winning conference championship.)

My 2 at large would be Hawaii and Kansas.


Ranking - BCS conferences champions get 1- 4 seeds  all play this weekend ( if playoff was in place)

First round
1.  USC  vs   Hawaii  at USC

2.  Oklahoma vs  Kansas at Oklahoma

3.  LSU  vs  West Virginia   

4   Ohio State vs   VT


winners advance to 2 New Years bowls...   Losers still new years bowl eligible

Florida crushed (I mean CRUSHED) Tennessee.

Tennesse def. Georgia by 21 points (35-14)
Georgia def. Florida by 12 points (42-30)
Florida def. Tennessee by 39 points (59-20)

It kinda all went in a circle this year, but in those games the point differential is:

Florida +27
Georgia -9
Tennessee -18

I thought about that one and it was my 2nd choice... I just thought a one loss team shouldn't be passed over by a 2 loss one.
