No way do you give alstott 20+ carries, he would probably break a hip.

I love the guy and what hes done for this team but he doesn't have 20 carries a game in him.  I'd be happy with 5-10 tops.

5-10 would be nice.  I like the idea of using him early, then again late.  That was a vicious hit!

5 carries a game would be ok with me.  The idea that he should split carries (or more) with Cadillac is ridiculous.

It was some great moments with Alstott...like the old days.  However, I  have seen him pushed back many, many times this year.  I think he had green peppers in his chalupa that got him going.  He has looked pretty ineffective earlier this year.  I thought maybe it was over...hope he can do that Thursday.

Springs was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He stepped up, everyone got blocked and he was the lone unblocked man. The lane opened up right in front of him and he couldnt step aside and try to arm tackle him if he wanted to

Vintage Mike! That was awesome since I didn't get to see the game. What do you think went through Springs' mind when he saw Mike coming through the line unblocked and a full head of steam?

I think the hit on Springs was better than some of the ones tonite on "Jacked Up".

I admit I was pissed when they showed Clayton getting jacked up from Sunday, but not Alstott plowing over Springs...

Either "Holy Shidt!"

or

Mike's knee caps.

The man was doomed.  I think his SOUL might have died after getting run over like that.

Well now with Buenning back to being himself and Joseph coming along, if we can actually make a hole for Alstott, then I wouldn't mind him getting 5-7 carries a game.  Get him past the line of scrimage where a LB or heaven forbid, a safety have to tackle him, and it'll get the crowd and the players pumped every time.  Use him when the offense hits a rut and needs to be charged up!
