Plain and simple.
We have a rookie QB come in and play near flawless football (certainly well enough to win), but our defense had other plans.

Sickening

I don't think I have ever seen so many missed tackles in my entire life. They probably had more whiffs in the first half of this game than they did the entire Superbowl season.

What's next?

I agree with all of this.  Jon must have done something today that caused them to miss tackles because god knows the masses of morons on this board will blame it on him

it is called age. our corners get burned and our safetys aren't to great either.
we have no pash rush and our d-line is slow as hell. didn't you watch the game?

C'mon ICIT. Many are smarter than that. I'm just saying take the blame for what you can control and for Gruden, that's his playcalling at the end of the game. Monte has to take some blame for the defense's poor performance. For God's sake, Bisaccia should be put out on his butt. Call him a cab and clear out his office.

Our pass defense was actually pretty good considering the lack of pass rush up front.

The big problem is run defense is putrid.

Brian Kelly was fine.  They didn't even throw his way.  When they did he made the tackle.

Barber, on the other hand, just plain sucks.

it has caught up with us this season that we havent drafted defense very often, we are old and slow. Dewayne White should be on the field alot more than he is.

Rice should be on that show dancing with Jerry Springer.

The whole D has lost it. Broken tackles, no real sacks, no turnovers other than the apple turnovers in Booger's locker. All they managed to do today was get in the way every now and then.

The days of the D carrying this team are over. Gradkowski will have to play even better than he did if they are going to win anything. The draft looks promising.

the best tacklers out there today were Blue, Pearson, Bolden, and Kelly....nobody else sticks out to me
