Just so you know (not that I do but I can imagine)

-- Living up to the expectation level that Gruden Sets for him is a very difficult task especially in the NFL.

--Coming to a team and adapting to a playbook you've most likely never seen before is difficult to memorize let alone look off recivers and know where they'll be.

--Fan expectation from a 6th Rd Draft Pick from Toledo is obviously going to be very high.

--Going against a 6th ranked defense on thankgiving on natianal television isnt the easiest thing to do. It's ineveitable that you can get shook up.

Seriously, this guy has done more than I've expected...and I expect him to do more for the Tampa organization...it was a good game, but the defense needs-- NEEDS to be solidified....Corners gave up too much seperation off the recievers and they need to hold their assignments better.

I'm bashing him now, but I'll be on his side again by tomorrow.   I'm already pretty much over that loss.   I was sure pissed off during the game though.

No one should bash Gradkowski.  He's already overachieved given his draft status.  He's also leading on the most complicated offenses in the league.

That being said, he has to show that he can make the necessary throws to succeed.  He's got 5 games left to show that.

He can't hit wide open receivers further than 20 yds. & he can't hit anybody in stride!

That was a poor display but anyone with half a brain will be expecting days like today with a rookie QB in a poor team.

What is it about the term "growing pains" some ppl. don't understand? He faced the leagues no. 6 ranked defense and he's getting ripped at this board. Last time you complained about him not throwing downfield and now that he is doing that you can't stand the fact that there will be interceptions.

Bah, another loss and the "sky is falling" crew are back at it.  Hopefully management has a more detached approach...

That was more than "another loss." That was a flat out beat down.

I don't care what defense he's facing, he has to hit Galloway for that TD.  He threw it late and he threw it short.  He can't do both and succeed.

Stop making excuses.

And all Simms could hit was wide open DB's on opposing teams or the opposing DL's outstrecthed arms. So either were back at square 1 or we see how the rookie develops.

Obviously Karen dosn't have time for that - she craves instant success from a rookie QB.

It was a beat down to possibly the best team in the NFL that is on a serious roll. Not to mention we had two days to prepare for a 3-4 defense that our QB has only seen once in a preseason game.

Heres a little food for thought.

Vince Young: 6 tds 8ints 1074 yrds 56.1 rating
Matt Leinart: 6 tds 7 ints 1348 yrds 68.1 rating
BRUCE GRADKOWSKI: 9 tds 4 ints 1208 yrds 73.7 rating

He doesnt have a WHAT?
