Garcia has played 1.25 games in 8 weeks even though he was 100% healthy after 2.

You dont think Gruden is going to get heat for that decision?

Yeah but in terms of whether he gets an extension or not that's probably a secondary issue. The biggest question is whether the team has enough high end talent on the team currently and are the combo of Allen and Gruden the best people to get it if the team isn't at that level....IMHO clearly not.

Fans and media may focus on the decision to play/not play the starters but the real focus should be on the other issue....and that's an issue I'm not really sure of at the moment.

Don't forget the Glazer's very real problem that the fan base no longer considers tickets to be worth the value like they used to.

How injured would the 'starters' have been WITHOUT sitting out the last two regular season games?      Defense is done, that's for sure--they need one big retirement party.  New QB, new receivers to aument the nucleus of new talent to build around for the future.

Too little too late. Aikman is right when he said Bucs have no playmakers on offense, at least any that are healthy. Offense went south after abandoning the run, defense can't get off the field and no pass rush, then 2 turnovers. All adds up to a bad day for the Bucs.

That was freakin pathetic, I have never seen a team come out so fired up and gain so much momentum and then suddenly QUIT on each other for 3 quarters!! 

the defense didnt adjust to what the Giants were doing...  they were killing us with cross and curl patters in the middle...  they exploited our Cover 2 ..  did Monte Kiffen adjust?  nope..    it worked in the first quarter when we stopped the Giants, but then the Giants adjusted..  we didnt...   we had NO pass rush when we needed it.  Eli had WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy too much time...  and Galloway was crap today..  lazy routes, never open, miscommunication..  and he didnt play the last few minutes..  thanks for nothing Joey..

The Giants played to win last week and a few starters were injured; it didn't stop them from winning this week
