he gos so far as to say he thinks at the end of the year they should fire Gruden and now hes saying we shouldn't have let McKay go,blames all the dropped passes ,missed throws ,bad tackling on Gruden.Even though a caller pointed out that we ran the ball 14 of our 1st 19 plays and when we got the ball back in the middle of the 3rd quarter behind by 21 points he said we should still run the ball, yeah right Ian your pea brain is better at calling the game then Gruden.Gos on to say that next year with all the high draft picks and all the FA money to spend the future looks dark because we can't pick players and no free agents even given a lot of money  will want to come here to sunny Tampa because of Gruden.....Ian thinks everbody hates Gruden like he does.

If Gruden didn't get rid of this pompous, full of him self, very limited talk show midget and by the way Grudens show is way better then when Ian did it then he would be saying Gruden was the best thing since sliced bread. To listen to this man twist everything Gruden ever did because he hates him is sickening this guy is a real turd.

He seems to have a bit of man-love for McKay as well.........living in the past is never the way to the future.

Yeh Atlanta have the highest cap space spent on starters in the entire NFL. McKay is a bad GM, why dont people realise.

which is why they are so screwed when an Abrahams or Hartwell or Webster etc gets injured.

I don't think so.

Actually, he did in 1997.  Beckles signed with the Eagles as a free agent in 1997.  Gruden was offensive coordinator for the Eagles in 95, 96 and 97.   Gruden left the Eagles to go become head coach of the Raiders in 1998.

I have a feeling there were some bitter moments that year in 1997.   Or maybe one of the reasons Beckles signed with the Eagles was because Gruden was offensive coordinator, then he bolted to Oakland the next year and it pissed Beckles off?

That could explain the animous but I think it has more to do with the Gruden show Beckles did in 2004.  Obviously he has big personal issues with Gruden.

He's just stoking the expectations by thinking that if only we had a different HC things wouldn't be so bad.  Rational people understand that this team was due to hit a wall on defense (where most of the $$ are) and all the chickens came home to roost this year.  That cannot all be laid at Gruden's feet.

Like I said, if losing seasons and falling below expectations didn't have anything to do with coaching; you'd never have a coach fired or stepping down in this league. Every coach would be with his original team. No one would ever get the axe. Unfortunately, that's not reality.

Of course it has something to do with coaching but this is a unique situation.  Fisher is 15-37 the last 3 1/2 seasons yet everyone thinks he's still a great coach.  He never won a Lombardi.  I don't get it.

Beckles sucks on radio. He just doesn't know that he sucks, which makes it much worse.
