It is somewhat perplexing about the seemingly lack of urgency to sign Kiffin.

That's because they probably all have a verbal agreement, wel in advance. I do see some assistant coache sgoing; possibly Muir & Mann, maybe the running backs coach also. Gruden is going to crank this offense up.

its is time to let Jon go...They fired Tony for a better record during the same time frame. Do it now so that you can get Bill from NBC as the new coach as well as fire bobble head bruce and bring back McCay

Team speed? Gruden had Micheal Bennett, with 10/100 speed standing right next to him and refused to find a way to use him. I like Gruden, but he is not honest, he says one thing to the media and then does another on the field.

The one by Time has to be my favorite, does this guy know anything about football?  I am starting to think that it was really from McKay.

I think they really need to consider whether they want him back or not.

Maybe the Bucs are thinking about parting ways with Kiffin and ready to hand it over to Morris.

I mean Kiffin is 67. Morris is in his early 30s. At some point the Bucs will have to go into a different direction at Defensive Coordinator. And they arn't going to want to lose Morris to another team if he could one day replace Kiffin.

If Morris does ever get the job as DC, I hope he brings in some sort of exotic scheme like a blitz package that works.

If the FO does decide to part ways with Kiffin, I would hope they keep Morris around. I wish we wouldn't have let Tomlin get away from us. We could have made him our DC and let Raheem stay under him.

As for the blitzes and the way that we have been getting players that we aren't used to seeing on the defensive side of the ball, I think we will be changing our whole scheme around with Coyer and company. We flirted with the 3-4 defense early in the year, maybe it is a sign of things to come for this defense.

There is nothing wrong with the scheme.  Our defensive rankings over the last decade prove that.  We had a top-3 defense again this year.  With another horse or two up front, it will be dominant again.

I didn't say that there was anything wrong with it, it works. Just saying from what I saw by using the 3-4 earlier in the year that it is a def. possibility that we start using the 3-4 more and more and eventually could switch to it all together.
