All style and no substance, we need a DT from the draft:

 1. Kentwan Balmer NC  DT
 2. DJ Hall Bama WR
 3. Chevis Jackson LSU CB
 4. Mike Pollack ASU C

I'm for drafting OT or WR in the 1st round.  Deshaun Jackson is pretty good and fast.  However, if Clady is there you take him and you have a LT for the next 10 years.  I support a CB and RB within the first four rounds.  Should be a deep draft for both positions.

Does anyone know if we will get a compensatory pick for FA losses at the end of the 3rd round?

1. DL Calais Campell, Miami- The dude is 6-8, 280 pounds and can play any position on the line.

If by "any" you mean LDE, then yes.

Sam Baker
Chevis Jackson
Andre Fluellen
Kory Lichtensteiger

Innovative Ghost and Clint - but I believe the thread starter was pretty clear on wanting names... LOL

And I like Stewart at RB - bc I don't think EG is it as a starter, nor would I bet on Caddy's full recovery - after that I am not so much help - should one of the elite UT candidates fall to #20 I would have a hard time making a determination between him and Stewart.

FAs for wr - so no I am not looking in the draft.

And yea, I am not listing the other three names - bc I am not so much on the college game...  I have to study the combine and player reports...

I do believe UT and WR are the two biggest chances for assured improvement - but Stewart - well he does remind me of Stephen Jackson...

This is defintely gonna be the defining off season and run up to next season for Gruden and his staff.
I am a supporter of Gruden but not a blind one.  I think we had a great draft last year and a good FA.
We have to get the heir apparent to Galloway and a stud DT and IMO, a top end CB.  Those 3 positions are immediate concerns.  As I mentioned about being a supporter of Gruden, it's speaks more to my being a true fan of the Buccnaeers.  These are not the Tampa Bay Grudens, and it truly amazes me how some peoples hate for the coach far outweighs their support of the Buccaneers.

Pat Sims looks to be what we are looking for in a pass rushing dt, but if we were able to pry Corey Williams away from Green Bay it would open up the possibility of drafting one of the stud running backs if still around.  If we come up empty in free agency it will be hard to not draft a dt or wr with the 20th pick.  It would be awesome if we could get Corey williams, Chad Johnson and Terell Suggs...  one can dream lol   ;D ;D ;D

BuccanAy I like your picks put I like Felix jones at #1!!!

Even though McFadden gets most of the attention the versatile Jones is a top prospect in his own right, contributing as a runner, receiver and return man. In '07 he ran for 1,117 yards (9.1 avg.) and 11 TD's despite getting just 123 carries.

1. Felix Jones Ark RB
2. DJ Hall Bama WR
3. Chevis Jackson LSU CB
4. Mike Pollack ASU C

Walter, when I think of Felix Jones the first thing I think of is oustanding speed. The second thing I think of is that he plays a bit soft. Convince me that he is not a younger Michael Bennett and I could see this pick if Stewart, McFadden and Mendenhall are all off the board.

• Jones earned All-American honors as a return specialist after returning two kickoffs for touchdowns this season. He ranks third nationally in kickoff return average (31.3 yards) and leads the SEC in career kickoff return average (26.6).

did some brief research on Sims, I don't lke his production in only one year he started...he quit the team early in his career and asked to be taken back...was the 7th leading tackler this year...just not as productive as i would like for a 1st round pick...JMO

I like Felix Jones but would hate to see the 1st pick go to RB. I like Ray Rice in the 2nd. It will be interesting to see his 40 time at the combine. He may drop if its slow. I don't know if he would drop to the 3rd round. He might even go in the 1st.
1. DT
2. RB
3. WR
4. CB
FA-C,WR,RB,TE,DE,DT,QB-Maybe the only position we don't need is safety.
