Wow... wanting Gruden to die?? Seriously? It is after all just football, damn I don't think Gruden is worth a damn at rebuilding a team, but shoot he deserves to live a long healthy life.

ghost, you are the only extreme gruden hater that i actually have some respect for.  of course i havent read all your posts and could change my mind if i did haha but for the most part you seem to be a normal human being.(thats a compliment i think)
I have nothing personal against the guy. Just don't like him as a coach. hell I would buy the man a beer.

Jeff Garcia killed that drive, not the playcalling. His turnover and Spurlock's were the two critical plays that essentially turned the game.

I guess I'm missing your point?  You have five runs highlighted for 3 quarters of football...is that supposed to be a positive for the running game?

Perhaps he was listening to the Pet Yorkie this afternoon. I had the computer on to listen to Rome and was preoccupied doing something else, and had to listen to 20 minutes of the Yorkie, yip, yip, yipping about how loved Valaro as a coach, Gruden sucks, and Rick Stroud should be nominated for a Pulitzer. You don't know who I know. I can't tell you who I know, I can't tell you what I know, all I know is that none of you know nothing.

Still waiting for that show where you outline in detail who the Bucs should hire and fire.

So Abuccs - who do you want the buccs to sign in FA or Draft - bc this season is over, and the coach will either be extended or not by the owners...

Gruden is here in 2008, regardless of extension. You don't extend the assistants and fire the head coach.

I was thinking the same thing. A lot of ranting and raving, but no solutions.

Fire the coach and GM.  Hire someone from CBS or Fox as GM.  Hire June Jones as Head Coach.  Draft six WRs in rounds 1-7.  Trade our '09 first and second picks for QB of the Future Sorgi.

Would that make everyone happy?

John Galt,
Is the squirrel in your sig, the singing squirrel from the Jeep Liberty commercial where animals fly from the sky all signing Rock Me Gently? I know he might be thirsty, but he's got to be costing you a fortune in import drafts.

Ghost, I believe you just proved that the "Gruden made it about Gruden" theory of play-calling is a crock. The Bucs started out mixing the run and pass, they had one series in the 2nd quarter where down and distance and clock did not dictate the pass-first play-calling, then they got right back to what was working in the third quarter even though they were down two scores.

The simple fact is, Marion Barber had almost run for 90 yards in the first Quarter against the Giants. Earnest Graham was having a succesful time in the first Quarter too, so it seems pretty baffling why Gruden strayed away from the running game completely for the rest of the game. We were down yes but even when you're down a TD and an FG you gotta keep running it otherwise the defense get comfortable. I'm sure Jeff Garcia would have appreciated some more running plays too as far as his own physical condition was concerned!

Jeff can change the play.
