No one has a DT. Wow. There's nothing in FA. #1 DT Best Available We can not continue to let average and 2nd and 3rd string QB's pick us apartbecause we cannot get pressure up the middle. Hello, this, by far, is our biggest need, along with a playmaker at WR. If we continue to allow QB's to step up and into their throwswe are going NOWHERE!
So is reaching for a player in the first few rounds worth it? not sure but with players like Ryan Sims who the coaching staff thinks highly of and Javon Haye, Greg Peterson the smart money is on the team addressing a DT in free agency rather then the draft.
1. RB Rashard Mendenhall - 5'11 224 4.47 tough insider runner, willing blocker, good hands, decent balance and vision, has a second gear 2. WR Early Doucet - 6'0 207 4.50 natural athlete, quick, great hands, tough, excellent blocker and good after the catch 3. QB Josh Johnson - Great football IQ, good pocket presence, shows good command in the huddle, natural leader, can make all the throws 4. CB Trae Williams - 5'10 190 4.45 decent tackler, good ball skills, can turn and run, has fluid hips and makes plays on the ball at its highest point.5. DE Jason Jones - 6'5 270 4.75 Had 14 sacks and 50 tackles for loss during his career, very athletic , great quickness and timed speed, makes alot of impact plays
