When I look at athletic QBs and their ability to make plays with their legs, I want them to be a QB first.  A QB like Donovan McNabb is that type of smart QB.  He can/will scramble when the play breaks down, but that happens after he has gone thru his reads and does not stop until he passes the line of scrimmage.  He plays the position as a QB.

After this many years in the league and in the 3rd year of a system, Vick does not see the field as well as he should and after one sack he appears to get jumpy and starts scrambling before making his reads.  Sometimes it appears that the WRs just quit on their routes because they think he is going to run so the plays break down and they miss making the play.

So I say no because he should be a better QB at this time of his career.

Truths:
1.  Never have an argument with an idiot.  They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
2.  For some it would be better if they remained silent and be thought a fool than to speak and erase all doubt.

I would take Vince Young over both of them.

I bet he'd stomp off the field & have a temper tantrum. Or a hissy fit. Sorry, Boid, I read you answer wrong. But I think he'd blow up our team. And fans wouldn't put up with his abusive crap.

His abusive crap would work for me if he got us some W's.

If not, is blowing up this team really a bad thing?

Vick is a game-changer.  The Bucs have never had an offensive player like this.  Vick in a heartbeat.

Actually the majority so far in this thread want Vick. And you would be a jackass to not want him. He is a good runner at least.
I believe the only jackass involved is Vick himself. After all the crap he's done...#### Vick.

also apellido = surname

rather have grads - cheap, has a chance at improving, unselfish, and can understand the basics of a WCO....

it amazes me that after 8 starts people are ready to bounce gradkowski, while after 6 years people still believe that vick is capable of transforming into a funcamentally sound QB.

just the thought of Vick makes me sick as heck!  No way would I like to see him here ... and esp. in place of Grads.

This is actually a tougher question than it seems. Any idiot can see that Vick is a playmaker - with his feet, but he can't pass the ball to save his life. Therefore you have to ask how long will he be able to keep this up? Do you grab him as a short term solution or refuse because he is not the long term answer.

I think a more important question is boxers vs. briefs?
