What draft position would make you the most angry?

However, it is a moot point since the only QB worth drafting in the first round, Matt Ryan, wont fall to us, so we wont be picking a QB.

Nothing is settled yet. Ryan hasn't proved anything. He may be hot right now, but someone like Andre Woodson could easily be the Ben Roethlisberger to Ryan and Brohm's Eli Manning and Philip Rivers.

Someone better let Tampa, Green Bay, San Diego, Houston, Carolina, New Orleans, San Francisco, Kansas City and the Giants know that you can't trade for a qb. All have managed to make it work at one time or another - and if I thought for another few minutes I am certain the list would be longer.

He did say "if they are playing at a high level", though Drew Brees was playing at a high level when he went from San Diego to New Orleans.

The QB position is a different animal then most other positions.  If you pick a DE, DT, RB, WR, CB or any other position in round one you will be getting some kind of contribution if that player doesn't end up being a starter or probowler.  You have numberous players at those positions playing during every game.  The QB position only has one player play and he should play the entire game.  Therefore, if you pick a first round QB that doesn't end up great he does nothing for the team.

In the Texans game we flat out lost.
In the Niners game, Garcia played half the game, and the Niners played with a 3rd string QB. Its funny you mentioned him playing vs. Wash, but not in this game?
In the Car game we faced a 3rd string QB and plenty of back ups too, it wasnt just the Bucs that used starters.

So what's your issue with McCown? That was his first game action since he was a rookie in 2004. He overthrew Galloway and Pittman? Yes he did. He also connected on a 60 yarder and a 52 yarder.

His decision making isn't a problem. Galloway didn't run the right route so it made McCown look bad.

McNown is a back up QB due to a complete lack of pocket understanding.  He is Not the QB of the future, which is need when your starting QB is going to be 39 years old, and looked every bit of that as the season wore on.

We need a QB of the future, and with Gruden's extension, he can afford to grab one.

I am glad you agree with me. 

Even Gruden had Grads in the mix ahead of McCown earlier in the year, so it isn't exactly cut and dried.  I doubt that McCown showed enough to make Gruden think he is in good shape when (not if) Garcia breaks down next year.  Sometimes flaws are flaws, not something to write off do to limited PT.   

There are 3 positions in the NFL that are virtually impossible to trade for if they are playing at a high level:

QB
LT
Pass Rusher

If you have a chance to take any of the three, you take him.  Yes, even if you have McCown on the roster, you still take an elite QB.

pissed at a QB?  So you are saying if Woodson or Brohm falls to 20 that you would pass on him?  Let me guess for Desean Jackson.. right?

My only concern with a QB in round one is the fact that a majority never do crap in the league! Especially of late most 2 to 5th (or 6th in Brady's case) are having success spending a year or two developing then having succeess. I stress not all Round 1 Qb's fail but it's a big risk that hasn't been paying off to much.
