The largest item on the budget is interest on that debt.  Well over $400billion.  it is a runaway train that needs fixing.

Why? They can just keep printing more money!

We have money for everything but we don't have money to help keep health care insurance affordable
and accessible for everyone.

Australians have a hand to mouth mentality.  They tend to buy what they can afford and avoid credit.

This is true.

I wanna see some of these pet projects he has... anyone have a list? I know Iraq/Afghanstan is the large amount but Im curious what the others ones are

Here you go all 1314 pages or 8.35mb (PDF) of it.

I'd be curious to know how much it cost just to produce and print the damn thing.

The trade deficit is rising thanks to NAFTA and China. And the budget deficit will continue to snowball because of the interest on the debt. Not to mention the economy is facing recession, a devalued dollar, and inflation.

We dont have the money anymore for universal healthcare. We are going to have to make massive cuts to social services and the military to pull out of debt.

That is over a $100 billion in crap that is either redundant, covered by states, or just stupid and unneccesary($654mill to send radio propaganda to Cuba and the mideast, stupid. $751mill to organize people to do community volunteer work.)

Do we really need an FBI and a DEA and a ATF and a Secret Service and a US Marshalls and a Federal Drug Control office?  Wouldn't it be cheaper to have one Federal law enforcement department?

If Bush was the CEO of any company, he would have been thrown out a long time ago.

Not a coincidence... if you do some research, you'll see that he's failed in every business venture he's ever had.  Except the Texas Rangers - where he needed Saudi money to bail him out.
