Garcia is our best option, but he is an average QB and we won't go far with him considering the talent level around him, he could not do it with a good D and O in San Fran, I doubt he will take us any farther than the first round. He fit this offense well because he has no arm and Gruden loves to dink & dunk, but that style of offense has not worked well since the Raiders used it. As far as comming from behind this offense is terrible and we need a big lead to have any shot or face a team with no offense because 3 & out seems to be our 4th QTR game plan and Galloways speed is useless with Garcias arm.

Tell me why Galloway had the longest YPC average in the NFL this season...

Right Stu.

Dink & dunk UM ? Garcia was tied for 9th in average yards with 7.5.

Roethlisberger, Farve & Manning were tied with 7.8; Are they dink & dunk with no arm as well ?

Garcia can make the passes. How many times did you see him OVERTHROW Joey on a long route ?

To be fair, overthrowing on deep routes can be due to the lack of control caused by arm weakness.  We saw Grads overthrow plenty of deep ones as well.  And just because Garcia has the arm in a few games, doesn't mean it will be there all season long.  The arm strength in older vets can nose dive as the season wears on.

Is that more or less likely as he gets another year older?
