Just out of curiosity, anyone know why this hasn't gone official yet?

Bump. Looks like New Orleans is really missing Faine.

Or maybe the Bucs are missing a few players on the d-line to make his replacement look less like a Pro Bowler.

Well and Faine helped dominate against a run defense that has been shreeded the last 4 weeks.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

Bump. Thanks for the inspiration, bradentonian.

New Orleans Saints center Jonathan Goodwin added to NFC Pro Bowl roster

The New Orleans Saints added a sixth member to the NFC Pro Bowl roster Wednesday when alternate Jonathan Goodwin was tabbed to replace Dallas center Andre Gurode.

Like the rest of his teammates, though, Goodwin doesn't want to play in the all-star game next week in Miami. He'd rather play in the Super Bowl a week later.

"It's nice, but definitely a game I don't want to play in," Goodwin said.

Already on the NFC Pro Bowl roster are quarterback Drew Brees, offensive tackle Jon Stinchcomb, guard Jahri Evans, linebacker Jonathan Vilma and safety Darren Sharper. Defensive end Will Smith is a first alternate who likely would go by default if the Vikings win Sunday's NFC championship game and Minnesota end Jared Allen can't play in the Pro Bowl.

Looks like big money free agent signings aren't what they're cracked up to be.

Not hard to be a good TEAM when your well coached. Then you don't need INDIVIDUALS trying to carry a unorganized unit.

Payton is a great coach

He plays in the South.  The best thing to hear about a center is nothing.  It means he is doing his job.  Wade got blown up and was the topic of many a blasting last year.  I even started a few...so yeah, Faine is a nice add.

Like I said, Saints fans complained about Faine getting overpowered too often like Bucs fans here complained about Wade. That doesn't mean they're right, however, or that Faine isn't an upgrade. The Saints have a guy in Faine's backup (Jonathan Goodwin) who they felt played better when Jeff was out with injury again last season and based on the salary Jeff was expecting, that's why they let him walk.

Hmmmm.
