No cap money...Derrick Brooks begs to differ. What big signings did he restructure for again?

What big signings did he restructure for again? Now that is precisely the attitude that got us into this mess in the first place. We could have restructured several guys, brought in more with large bonuses paid later on, and screwed our cap for ANOTHER 5 years. Do you think it's easy to make the decision to stand pat? Think Gruden, Allen, Kiffen, and the Glazers didn't see all the moves the competition were making? Think there wasn't a single area they wanted to improve? Think Gruden and Allen don't know how the league works, and how quickly a losing season can get you fired? The lack of patience is what screws up a cap. While it may have cost us a few games, the reality is the managment stuck to the plan instead of abandoning it to buy some shiny new toys. It's fiscal discipline, and the past lack of it is why we have such a talent lack on this team. The fact that they held tight is pretty freakin impressive.
The plan is absolutely flawed
The plan is absolutely flawed then seeing as we suck AGAIN under Gruden and it really appears as though we're not going to look any better next year. Hurrah for the plan!
