You will care in another twenty to thirty years time when the average standard of living in the US has declined beyond recognition.

I think we're already there. And we surely didn't get there by buying foreign cars. We got there by shipping our jobs overseas to people who work for 30 cents a week... all to profit fat cat CEO's pockets...not the American people.

LOL...hokey dokey  ::)

Good response.  You know, you're right.  I think I'll start buying other goods made in America.

Wait...... there aren't any...

I was just thinking about how hard it would be to buy nothing but American made good. It's almost impossible.

Exactly.  That's the problem.  Not someone buying a car assembled in the US by a Japanese company.

I always here how great "globalization" is... its just too bad it doesn't include hard working Americans in its work force... only as its customers.

Who's getting rich here?  Probably not that hard to figure out, but here's a CNN article.

Way to hit the teachers up again Bush.

Man I hate George BUsh.  He is a terrible president.  Oh well, his tenure in office is soon up, and then there are no more excuses as to why the United STates sucks.

Don't expect much change when royal blood, cousin of Cheney and Bush, Obama comes into
office.

McCain will be no different.
Whoever wins the democratic party will be the next president, and gas prices will come down.
